Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be held in the evenings during the last week in July from Monday , July 26th through Thursday, July 29th. We need boys and girls to attend and church members to help. As usual we need we need teachers, decorators, recreation helpers, kitchen helpers and other people to begin preparations now. Galactic Blast is an interactive , energizing, Bible-based program bring children into a closer relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The exciting daily themes and activities will inspire our children to praise God and enable this closer relationship. The activities highlight our God as being wonderful, incredible, amazing, magnificent and awesome ... and so we should praise Him. The nightly missions focus on The Creation of the Universe, Elijah at Mt. Horab, The Woman at the Well, A Blind Beggar in Jericho and Two Disciples at Emmaus. Skits at the beginning of each session will present nightly themes and "green' ideas for taking care of the earth that God has given us. We'll also visit the moon, stars, comets and supernovas. There will be upbeat music, science demonstrations at the Orbital Observatory, recreation at the Rocket Rec and snacks at the Astro Bistro that all reinforce daily Bible stories and Praise Phrases.

 

Please come and help as you are able. And recruit as many children as possible including neighbors, friends and grandchildren. We'll look for you at Galactic Blast VBS, July 25th through 29th.
