Respiratory illnesses—including measles, COVID‑19, and the flu—continue to circulate in our region, and flu activity in Virginia is currently rising to concerning levels. Measles outbreaks are also increasing across the United States due to lower vaccination rates, making prevention especially important. All three of these illnesses spread primarily through respiratory droplets, which means simple steps like wearing a mask and washing your hands remain highly effective ways to protect yourself and others. Hand sanitizer and masks are available in the Narthex each Sunday for anyone who wishes to use them. If you are feeling unwell, please consider wearing a mask to help prevent sharing illness with those around you. These small actions make a meaningful difference in keeping our church family healthy and safe.
